Barista course in Barcelona
Learn at the school where we train our own team, to the standard of Xavi Iglesias, a world barista judge. Real practice, small groups.

Our Barcelona school is where the Degusto Arte baristas train — the same ones who serve at Mobile World Congress and for brands like Google and Amazon. We open that same training to individuals, professionals and companies.
The courses are 100% hands-on, with real professional equipment: an espresso machine, grinders and the Core Coffee that is roasted artisanally in the city. From espresso fundamentals to the latte art workshop, always in small groups so you practise cup by cup.
The standard is the one Xavi applies as a judge: extraction, milk texture and consistency. You leave with the school certificate and criteria you can apply from day one, at home or behind a bar.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a barista course in Barcelona cost?
It depends on the format and group size. Tell us what you want to learn — fundamentals, latte art or team building — and within 48 working hours we will send a proposal and dates.
Where do the courses take place?
At our Barcelona space, with the same machines and grinders we use at events. For companies we can also come to your offices if the space allows it.
Do I need previous experience?
No. The fundamentals courses start from zero and in team buildings everyone joins at their own level. For the latte art workshop we recommend doing the fundamentals first.
How many people can take part?
We work in small groups so everyone gets machine time. For large teams we run several rounds on the same day.
